Dear Paula and Deb-

Please allow this letter to serve as follow up to the original notification, dated August 14, 2007.  The  Celebration departures from April 19, 2008, through and including September 15, 2008, will be cancelled.  The Celebration will be re-deployed and we will not be able to offer another Carnival ship from Jacksonville during this period.

The Carnival Fascination will replace the Celebration and operate our 4 and 5 day Jacksonville cruises starting Saturday, September 20, 2008.

We realize that you had a group booked on the Celebration to sail on May 22, 2008.  We sincerely apologize for the cancellation of this cruise and for any inconvenience this may cause you and/or your clients.

As stated in the original letter, Carnival would provide your clients with an onboard credit if they rebooked on another Carnival Cruise and was valid for rebookings made by August 28, 2007.  I understand the options that we came up with did not fit the criteria of your group and we are so sorry that we could not make that work out for your 2008 group.

We truly appreciate your assistance in this matter and your continued support of Carnival Cruise Lines.  We hope that we can work together in the future to fulfill the needs of your upcoming groups.
